Pu-erh: lower cholesterol, improve mental focus, suppresses the synthesis of fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamin C

Pu-erh tea is fermented, meaning it has higher concentrations of antioxidants and Vitamin C than non-fermented teas which help prevent illnesses such as the common cold and flu. Since pu-erh tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant, it also has more antioxidants and disease-fighting catechins than herbal teas.

Ginger Root: high cholesterol, parasitic infections, inflammation, viruses, indigestion, nausea and vomiting

Ginger is an effective and universal remedy for inflammation and pain. The German Commission E has approved it for loss of appetite, travel sickness, and indigestion  related complaints. Ginger contains a chemical called zingibain, which dissolves parasites and their eggs.

Orange Peel: breaks down congestion, cleanse the lungs, boosts immunity, lowers blood cholesterol and blood pressure levels, prevents lung infections, regulates blood sugar levels.

Orange peels are rich in fiber, vitamins, and disease-fighting polyphenols. They also contain limonene, a chemical that may protect against skin cancer.

Orange peels are rich in several nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C, and plant compounds like polyphenols. In fact, just 1 tablespoon (6 grams) of orange peel provides nearly 3 times more than the inner fruit. The same serving also packs about 4 times more fiber.

Burdock Root: Skin conditions, Gastrointestinal conditions, Bacterial, Viral, and Fungal infections, Diabetes, Blood Purifying, Strengthens Lymphatic System

Burdock root has been used for centuries in holistic medicine to treat a variety of different conditions. Traditionally, it’s been most commonly used as a diuretic and a digestive aid.

Dandelion Root:  liver problems and gallstones, kidney and bladder infections, indigestion and constipation

Dandelion root is a rich source of beta-carotene and potassium. According to folk medicine, dandelion was used for disturbances in bile flow, inflammatory conditions of the urinary tract, and dyspepsia. It was also used for liver and gallbladder disorders, hemorrhoids, gout, rheumatic disorders, eczema, and other skin conditions. The herb has a diuretic effect and is used for bladder and kidney complaints.

Astragalus Root: common cold, diabetes, infertility, liver, and GI tract, heart disease

Astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus) is used in herbal medicine for its long, thin diagonal sections. Astragalus has the unusual ability to stimulate certain immune functions while depressing others. It is an overall body tonic that is used to strengthen digestion, increase metabolic activity, and stimulate the immune system.

Clove Buds: Cloves are best known as a sweet and aromatic spice, but they have also been used in traditional medicine. Cloves are high in antioxidants, including eugenol, which can help reduce oxidative stress. Studies show that cloves may promote oral health, thanks to their antimicrobial properties, which may help kill harmful bacteria. It is also known to protect the liver.

Damiana: libido, mental/physical stamina, nervous stomach, and constipation

Damiana leaves have been utilized by the Maya for their aphrodisiac qualities and their ability to boost sexual potency. Damiana is also used as a general health tonic and a digestive aid; it is believed to be a mild laxative with the ability to treat constipation.

Hibiscus: Rich in antioxidants, blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol,  high in vitamin C

Hibiscus tea contains high amounts of Vitamin C. Rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C can help boost your immune system and may help to prevent cell damage caused by free radicals in the body. This can reduce your risk of developing many significant health complications such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

The antispasmodic qualities of Jasmine make it helpful to relieve indigestion, stomach cramps and soothe inflammation. Jasmine has long been known as an aphrodisiac and libido enhancer by ancient herbalists for as long as this flower has been utilised as a herbal remedy. Its exotic, heady scent not only lifts the spirits, it helps to dissolve emotional barriers and promote feelings of intimacy.
